The 45% gear reduction is a robust set of portals giving height and power in any terrain. You can run a larger tire size and have the torque and horsepower you need. Mud riding geared to get you out of the thickest mud holes and 6 inches of height to pass over anything that comes in your way. Rock climbing 45% gear reduction makes that rocky terrain seem easy. You’ll have the power to ease right over rocks and boulders, plus added lift to run big tires to go places your friends can’t make it.
What are the dual idlers with 60% gear reduction kit? High Lifter has engineered a gearing setup that allows us to place two idler gears in the portal gear box. The dual idler gears spread the load between twice as many teeth on the gears, which doubles the area and reduces stress by half. Like any other portal kit, there will be a reduction in top speed when running the 6″ dual idler 60% gears. This kit is for riders who are looking for torque and power. The dual 60% is the perfect fit for the hardcore mud rider that wants to hit the holes hard and come out on the other side!
